Job Overview

The First National Center Security Team is seeking a dependable and professional Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment. This role involves protecting property, monitoring security systems, and responding effectively to incidents within a large, high-profile facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect assets by securing the interior, exterior, and perimeter of the facility
• Conduct routine patrols to prevent unauthorized or illegal activities
• Maintain awareness of all building areas, including parking zones and access routes
• Perform escort duties when required
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or unusual situations
• Identify potential safety or security risks and take corrective action
• Monitor and operate access control systems, surveillance equipment, and other security tools
• Maintain certifications and proficiency with assigned equipment and weapons
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state driver’s license
• Oklahoma CLEET certification (Armed Security) required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in military, law enforcement, intelligence, or private security (strongly preferred)
• Knowledge of security principles, systems, and building automation technologies
• Ability to work in a corporate, high-traffic public environment
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain effective under pressure and in stressful situations
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Capability to lift or move up to 200 pounds when required
• Must be able to patrol a large facility (approx. 1 million sq. ft.)
• Ability to climb up to 34 flights of stairs daily
