Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) serves as a strategic partner to operations, managing the full-cycle recruiting process within an assigned territory. This role focuses on attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
The TAP collaborates closely with Operations Managers to support workforce planning and develop recruiting strategies that align with business goals. This position also builds strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external talent sources, including educational institutions and workforce development organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Strategy
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, acting as the primary contact for candidates and hiring managers
- Lead workforce planning meetings to identify hiring needs and define job requirements
- Develop job descriptions and hiring criteria aligned with business needs
- Implement sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, events, and referrals
- Maintain and manage recruitment processes within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Collaboration & Relationship Building
- Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers throughout the hiring process
- Build partnerships with trade schools, colleges, associations, and community organizations
- Coordinate and participate in job fairs and recruiting events
- Work closely with internal teams to improve recruiting processes and efficiency
Data & Reporting
- Analyze recruitment metrics and generate reports to support decision-making
- Use data insights to improve sourcing strategies and hiring outcomes
- Support strategic recruiting initiatives in collaboration with leadership

Working Conditions
- May involve exposure to various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Work may occur on construction sites, including use of site facilities
- Must be comfortable working in noisy environments
- Ability to handle stressful or high-pressure situations calmly
- Required to work overtime on short notice when needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
- Physical mobility including bending, climbing, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands and arms for repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Capability to access all levels of construction sites, including ladders and stairs
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of recruiting experience (preferred in skilled trades)
OR
- 10+ years of recruiting experience (preferably in skilled trades)
